Mandy – Nursery Owner

Mandy has owned and run the nursery for 10 years after running several successful after-school clubs for many years before that. She holds the following relevant qualifications: Early Years Professional Status and Management Training and also an NVQ 3 in Playwork. She has also completed the following relevant training: Level 2 award for Food Safety for Catering, Targeted 2 Training (Safeguarding), Emergency Drug Administration, Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect, Baby Massage, Role of the DSMS in Childcare Settings, Understanding Children’s behaviour in the early years and Child protection for Child Care Practitioners.

Simon – Nursery Manager

Simon is our Nursery Manager with 10 years of experience working with children. He takes care of the admin at nursery and holds the following relevant qualifications: A Level 3 in Management, a Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. He has also completed the following relevant training: Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering, Emergency Drug Administration, Paediatric First Aid, Anaphylaxis Awareness and Auto-Injector training, Food Allergy Training, Targeted 2 Training (Safeguarding), DSL: Thinking the unthinkinable and doing the right thing, Behaviour Management, Awareness of Domestic Violence including the Impact on Children and Young People, Managing Beyond the Basics, Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect, Food allergy training and Understanding children’s behaviour in the early years.

Sophie – Nursery Manager

 Sophie is our Nursery Manager with 9 years of experience working with children. She holds the following relevant qualifications: A Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Early Childhood Studies. She has also completed the following relevant training: Safeguarding Training, Paediatric First Aid, Emergency Drug Administration, Fire Warden/Marshal training, Food Hygiene awareness, Level 3 Child Protection, DSL Training, Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect, Enabling Environments, Understanding Children’s Behaviour in the early years, Level 3 Child protection, Leadership and Management and Prevent training.

Amy – Deputy Manager

Amy is our Deputy Manager with 10 years of experience working with children. She holds the following relevant qualifications: Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and a level 2 Certificate in Child Care and Education. Amy has also completed the following relevant training: Being School Ready, Hygiene and Infection control, Early Years Foundation Stage: Mobile Babies, Social and Emotion aspects of development, Paediatric First Aid, Management training, Understanding Children’s behaviour in the early years, Awareness of abuse and neglect in the Early Years settings, Basic Food Hygiene, Level 3 Child Protection, Duties of the DSL and Emergency Drug Administration.

Zoe – Jelly Baby Supervisor

Zoe

Zoe is our Baby Room supervisor, she is working alongside her colleagues Laura and Evie. She holds the following relevant qualifications: BTEC Level 2 in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care and Children and Young People settings. She has also completed the following relevant training: Emergency Drug Administration, Food Hygiene Awareness, Level 2 in Safeguarding, Emergency Drug Administration, Paediatric First Aid, Awareness of Abuse and Neglect in Early Years Settings, Behaviour Management and assertiveness training and understanding Children’s behaviour in Early Years.

Laura – Jelly Baby Room

LauraLaura works in the Baby room alongside her colleagues Zoey and Evie. She holds the following relevant qualifications: a Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce. She has also completed the following relevant training: Paediatric First Aid, Introduction to Safeguarding, Awareness of the abuse and neglect in Early Years, The A-Z of practical ways to support children with social and communication needs to be independent learners, Effective Group Work, Understanding children’s behaviours in the Early Years, Emergency Drug administration, behaviour management for children 0-5, The Sensory Toolbox, Awareness of the abuse and neflect of babies, children and young people and level 2 Safeguarding.

Evie – Jelly Baby Room

Evie has been working with children for 5 years now and works in the Baby room alongside her colleagues Zoe and Laura. She holds the following relevant qualifications: a Level 3 in CACHE Children and is working towards her foundation degree in Early Years. She has also completed the following relevant training: Safeguarding: Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and Emergency Drug Administration.

Evie – Jelly Tots Supervisor

EvieEvie is our Jelly Tots supervisor, she is working alongside her colleagues Emily and Lydia. She holds the following relevant qualifications:  a Level 3 National Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Developmentand a Level 2 in Team Leading and Management. She has also completed the following training: Paediatric First Aid, Awareness of the abuse and neglect in Early Years, Safeguarding Children for Early Years Practitioner, Food Hygiene Awareness, Understanding children’s behaviour in the early years, Early Talkers – Helping Children’s Communication, Emergency Drug Administration, The Sensory Toolbox, A-Z of practical ways to support children with social and communication needs to be independent learners and Level 3 in Child Protection. 

Emily – Jelly Tots Room

Emily works with her colleagues Evie and Lydia in the Jelly Tots room. She is working towards the following relevant qualifications: a Level 2 in Children’s Care. She has also completed the following relevant training: Emergency Drug Administration and Safeguarding: Child Protection.  

Lydia – Jelly Tots Room

Lydia works with her colleagues Evie and Emily in the Jelly Tots room. She holds the following relevant qualifications:  a Level 3 in Early Years Educator for the Early Years Workforce. She has also completed the following relevant training: Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Awareness, Awareness of the abuse and neglect in Early Years Settings, Understanding Children’s behaviour in the early years, Emergency Drug administration, the A-Z of practical ways to support children with social and communication needs to be independent learners, Supporting the sensory needs of children to make them happier and more confident learners and Level 2 Safeguarding.

Jodie – Magic Stars Supervisor

JodieJodie is our Magic Stars supervisor, she is working with her colleagues Jess and Julie. She holds the following relevant qualifications: A Diploma in Children’s Education. She has also completed the following relevant training: Effective group work, Enabling Environments, Narrowing the Gap, Paediatric First Aid, Introduction to Safeguarding, Food Hygiene Awareness, Level 2 Safeguarding children, The A-Z of practical ways to support children with social and communication needs to be independent learns and Behaviour management for children 0-5 years.

Jess – Magic Stars Supervisor

 JessJess Whittaker is our Magic Stars Assistant-Supervisor, she is working alongside her colleagues Jodie and Julie. Julie – Magic Stars Room

Julie

Julie works with her colleagues Jess and Jodie. in the Magic Stars room. She holds the following relevant qualifications: An NVQ 2 in Early Years Care and Education. She has also completed the following relevant training: Managing Anaphylaxis, Asthma and choking, Basic Good Hygiene, Safeguarding: Child Protection, Understanding children’s behaviour in the early years, Paediatric First Aid, Emergency Drug Administration and has been working with children for many years!

Julie – Skittles Room

Julie works in Skittles room with her colleagues Amy and Alice. She holds the following relevant qualifications: a Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and a level 3 in Management. She has also completed the following relevant training: Paediatric First Aid, Learning and Development, Emergency first aid at work, FGM Recognising & preventing, Targeted 2 Training (Safeguarding), Basic Food Hygiene, The A-Z of practical ways to support children with social and communication needs to be independent learners, Safeguarding Children, and Risky play-Safe Learning.

Alice – Skittles Room

Alice works in Skittles Room alongside her colleagues Julie and Amy. Alice has 3 years of experience working with children, holds a level 3 in Health and Social Care, is working towards her level 2 NVQ in Children and Young People and has the following relevant training:  Level 3 child protection, Emergency Drug Administration and Paediatric First Aid.

Rachel – SENCo

Rachel;Rachel Buckley has been working with children for 18 years now, this is one of the many reasons that she currently holds the title of SENCo at Tiny tribes. Rachel also holds the following relevant qualifications: A level 2 in Early Years Childcare and Education, a level 3 in Childcare Learning. She has also completed the following relevant training: Targeted 2 Training (Safeguarding), NVQ3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, Role of the SENCo, Introduction to Speech and Language Difficulties, Paediatric First Aid, Emergency Drug Administration, Basic Food Hygiene, Autism in the Early Years, Understanding children’s behaviour in the early years, Health and Safety, Code of Practice Training, Personal Social Mental Health, Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect, Making Transitions Easier and Risky Play & Safe Learning.

Becky – Nursery Practitioner

Becky works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. She holds the following relevant qualifications: NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing and she has the following relevant training: Emergency Drug Administration, Food Hygeine and Safeguarding Practice.  

Evette – Nursery Practitioner

Evette

Evette works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. Chloe – Nursery Practitioner

Chloe works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help and has worked with us for many years! Chloe has completed the following relevant training: Understanding children’s behaviour in the early years, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding for Practitioners Level 2.

Becky – Nursery Practitioner

Becky

Becky works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. She holds the following relevant qualifications: An Early Years Foundation Degree, Health and Social Care BTEC level 3. She has also completed the following relevant training: Emergency Paediatric FirstAid, Food Hygiene Awareness, Anaphylaxis Awareness and Auto-Injector, Food Safety in catering, Enabling Environments, and Safeguarding Level 2.  Becky has been working with children for over half a decade now and has worked with ages 3 months to 17 years old.

Cally – Nursery Practitioner

callyCally works in two rooms at the Nursery, Magic Stars and Skittles. She holds the following relevant qualifications: A Diploma in Art & Design and she a level 2 in Children’s Care. She has also completed the following relevant training: Paediatric First Aid, Emergency First Drug Administration and Safeguarding Practice.  

Emma – Nursery Practitioner

Emma works in any of the rooms that need her help. She’s been working with children for 8 years, has experience with children that are meeting all of their developmental milestones as well as children with physical disabilities and children with additional needs. Emma is currently in her final year at Worcester Uni, where she’s training to become a paediatric nurse.

Rowan – Nursery Practitioner

RowanRowan works in the Jelly Tots room with her colleagues Evie, Lydia and Emily. Rowan is working towards a NVQ level 2 in Childcare and is beginning on our training path!

Steph – Nursery Practitioner

StephSteph works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. Steph is in her 3rd year at university, completing a BA (Hons) Education Studies degrees, which will prepare her to work with children of all ages. Steph has completed university modules such as, Care, Development and Learning in Early Childhood, Supporting Learners with Additional Support Needs and Health Education and behaviour. These are all relative in working towards her childhood qualification. She has also completed the following relevant training: Emergency Drug Administration, Safeguarding in Practice, Food Hygiene, Prevent Duty and Paediatric First Aid.

Lucy – Nursery Practitioner

Lucy works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. She holds the following relevant qualifications: a BTEC National Diploma in childhood studies, an NVQ 3 in Childcare and Education and additional counselling qualifications. Lucy has been working with children for 15 years in a variety of settings and worked with ages from 3 months to 18 years old.

Sarah – Nursery Practitioner

SarahSarah works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. She holds the following relevant qualifications: A Worcestershire Professional Qualifications for Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status. She’s worked with children for many years now and is at Uni, studying Human Nutrition and Psychology. She has also completed the following relevant training: The Sensory Toolbox, The A-Z of practical ways to support children with social and communication needs to be independent learners, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Safeguarding and Emergency Drug Administration.

Lesley – Nursery Practitioner

zoetempLesley works in the nursery in any of the rooms that need her help. She has been working with children for over 30 years in a variety of settings and worked with ages from 3 months to 18 years old; Lesley has moved away, come back, and always stayed in touch with us – we’re very lucky to have her back and sharing her calm and caring nature with the children!
